Story Homes
Founded in 1987 by Chairman Fred Story, Story Homes is a housing developer with schemes in Cumbria, North West and North East England and southern Scotland.
In 2001 Story Construction split into two distinct businesses, and Story Homes was born. This new business needed its own brand that would require it to be elevated from its current 'construction company' appearance to a more aspirational, consumer-driven appearance. The stork motif was introduced to the brand in a stylised 'S' shape, the stork being a perfect representation of 'nesting' and a 'growing family home'.
With the brand established, there followed promotional brochures for new developments, as well as many internal documents for the staff at Story Homes headquarters at Kingmoor Park in Carlisle (pictured below).
